Every fantasy world starts with a question.
What lies beyond the next hill? Who built the forgotten ruins? Why does one road seem safer than another?
For me, those questions eventually became The Ikato Sorcerers World.
When I began writing The Ashen Crown, the world only existed in scattered notes and rough sketches. Cities had names, forests carried stories, and kingdoms had histories, but they all lived inside notebooks rather than on a single page.
Creating this map was the moment everything came together.
It isn't simply a guide for readers. It's the foundation of the world itself.
From the royal capital of Durser, to the halls of Korrath Academy, to the mysterious Hollow Point, every location exists because it serves a purpose in the larger story.
Some places are peaceful.
Some are dangerous.
Some have histories that haven't yet been revealed.
The map also marks the territories explored in The Ashen Crown and The King Without a Crown, while leaving much of the world hidden for future stories. There are roads that lead somewhere unexpected, coastlines with forgotten histories, and places whose names may not make sense until much later.
That's intentional.
The best fantasy worlds don't reveal everything at once.
They invite readers to explore.
This map is only the first step into the Ikato Sorcerers World.
The journey itself is where the real discoveries begin.

The map of the Ikato Sorcerers World is the first visual look into the setting shared by The Ashen Crown and The King Without a Crown. Rather than revealing every secret, it introduces the places where legends are born, kingdoms rise, and destinies begin.

A major capital city connected to trade, politics, and the wider world. Many journeys begin or end here.
Hollow Point
Hollow Point
A place unlike any other. Its appearance on the map marks only its location, not its importance. Some mysteries are meant to remain mysteries until the right moment.

A quiet settlement where ordinary lives continue despite the extraordinary world surrounding them.
Marrowfields
Marrowfields
Known for its old quarry and the Voss Manor, this region carries its own unique history waiting to be explored.
Yessoa
Yessoa
A thriving harbour town connecting distant regions through sea trade and travel.
Calyxora
Calyxora
Once a significant land before becoming submerged centuries ago. Though much of it now rests beneath the sea, its legacy has not entirely disappeared.

The roads shown throughout the map are more than simple travel routes. They connect kingdoms, villages, and forgotten places while quietly reflecting the relationships between different regions.
The highlighted territories indicate the primary settings explored in the first two books, but they represent only a fraction of the larger world.
Beyond these borders lie lands, civilizations, and stories still waiting to be told.
